Game Plan Sunday Session - Ararat tonight

THE GAME PLAN for Ararat – with Michael Polster

Quaddies x 2

1,2,3,4,6,7/ 6/ 1,2,9/ 1,8,10.  $60 gets you 133.33%
1,2,3,4,6,7/ 1,2,3,5/ 1,2,9/ 1,8,10.  $40 gets you 22.22%

Best Bet               Cyclades (Race 5 no. 6)
Game in defeat last time behind The Unionist and although he is likely to have to park out tonight he should still be too strong for his rivals.

Best Value          Trysomemagic (Race 6 no. 9)
This guy hasn’t been disgraced behind smart types Freemason and Charlie Machsheen at his past two and has a terrific chance of breaking his maiden in this much easier affair.

Best Roughie     Is Life On Mars (Race 2 no. 1)
He’s a one-paced type who has been working home well at his past few and if he can hold a forward spot from the pole he has a sneaky chance of knocking them off at odds.

Best First Four

Race 7.  Think Tara Tom, Problem Solved and Flyin Fox will dominate with Lombo Blu Blood and Torque Attraction the key place hopes.

Play this way.  1,8,10/ 1,8,10/ 1,8,10/ 6,9,  1,8,10/ 1,8,10/ 6,9/ 1,8,10  and  1,8,10/ 6,9/ 1,8,10/ 1,8,10.  $12 on each will have you going for 100%.

BLACK BOOKERS – Bendigo Saturday Night

Hezfullarunning
Put his best hoof forward last night where he worked to the lead and ran his rivals off their legs to record a new “PB’ of 1:55.7 for the short course. He has always shown talent and will be winning a lot more races this campaign judging by his awesome performance last night. Click here to view the run.

Easy Lightning
Cost himself victory first up by going bush on the turn before balancing up in the straight to go down narrowly behind Nuggets Brother. He enjoyed a fruitful freshman season and looks set to win his share of races this term. Click here to view the run.

Just Sarge
Was travelling beautifully in the one-by-one but Chris Alford just couldn’t get him out in the straight and he was most unlucky not to finish a lot closer to Island Rumba. His first up run behind Lombo Cloud Nine at Maryborough was excellent and will be winning before too long with better luck. Click here to view the run.

With Gusto
Got a long way back in the run, was a mile off the leader when heads turned for home but he wound up late to run a creditable fourth behind Manolo Raine. He is improving with each outing and will bust his maiden very shortly. Click here to view the run.

STAR TRIALLERS – (Racing Tonight)

Major Steppe (Race 1 no. 4)
Dean Braun-prepared Art Major colt who has trialled nicely on two occasions in the lead-up to this; the latest at Ballarat last Monday night where he finished off in 27.7. He looks another talented type for the astute mentor and first up success is almost guaranteed.

Minus Three (Race 2 no. 2)
This Justin Lane-trained Chill Factor half-brother to the handy performer National Service trialled OK at Stawell last week when beaten 4m by True Courage where they slipped home in 28.2, which is hiking around that circuit. He comes up with a nice barrier, has Grant Campbell in the sulky and is sure to run well first up.
