Ultra smart Jayne Davies-trained 6YO who has been trialling nicely at Kilmore, Melton and Cranbourne the past month to ready him for his first up run. He has won 5 of his 8 outings and has had issues with soundness over the years but he is richly talented and the one to beat in the final event today.

Game in defeat behind Smokinoff in his heat of today’s final after doing all the work in the breeze and only being collared in the shadows of the post. Stuck on really well out wide on the track in a blistering last quarter of 26.9 to run third to the quality mare Lady Penrose at Melton last time out. Sat in the chair for the entire journey at Bendigo last start and only just failed to reel in the flying Bon Jovi at the end of a 56.1 final half.
