Good Form Preview - Sunday Night at Kilmore

THE GAME PLAN for Kilmore – with Michael Polster (@mickpolster)

THE MONEY RACES
I’ve assessed some tricky meetings in my time but tonight’s is right up there with some of the more difficult to work out but nevertheless I’ve come up with what I think is a winning Game Plan.  I’ve decided to target Races 4,5,6 and 7 in a variety of different ways and I’m going to outlay $400, which along with my $100 Quaddie, where I’ve played nice and wide, will take my total spend to $500.

Race 4
Trifecta:  2/ 1,4,5,6,7,8,9/ 1,4,5,6,7,8,9.  $73 gets you 173.8%
Trifecta:  5,7,9/ 2/ 1,4,5,6,7,8,9.  $18 gets you 100%
Trifecta:  5,7,9/ 1,4,5,6,7,8,9/ 2.  $9 gets you 50%

First Four:  3,6,10/ 3,6,10/ 1,2,4,5,7,8,12/ 3,6,10.  $37 gets you 88.09%
First Four:  3,6,10/ 1,2,4,5,7,8,12/ 3,6,10/ 3,6,10.  $21 gets you 50%

LAY OF THE NIGHT

Missanger Management (Race 6 no. 5) $1.80
This former Kiwi filly didn’t do much wrong at her Aussie debut when second to Caledonian Attack at Melton last week, but she draws outside some speedy beginners and I doubt she will get as cushy a run tonight as she did on that occasion so I’m taking her on by backing the below horses straight out for $100 total spend.

Khans Seelster           Approx. price   $10.     $20 win.  Probable return $200.
Blue Label Jimmy       Approx. price   $7.       $30 win.  Probable return $210.
Frosty Star                  Approx. price   $5.       $50 win.  Probable return $250.

Race 7
Roving Banker Trifecta:  11 the Rover with 1,2,6,7,10,12.  $60 gets you 66.66%
Boxed Trifecta:  1,2,6,7,10,12.  $40 gets you 33.33%

QUADDIE
2,5,7,9/ 3,6,10/ 1,3,4,5/ 1,2,6,7,10,11,12.  $100 gets you 29.76%
