Yet another tricky little program to deal with here but I think the best plan of attack is to take some Trifectas around what I think are two of the better bets of the program in Realy Under Fire in Race 4 and Lively Princess in Race 5 and hope things go to plan.  I’ve outlined the bets below and will spend $200 on both events, which along with my $100 Quaddie will take my outlay for the night to $300.

BLACK BOOKERS – Racing Tonight

Realy Under Fire (Race 4 no. 11) $1.80

This little fellow had his first run for Glenn Douglas at Ballarat 8 days ago where he messed up the start, tacked onto the bulk of the field at the bell and unleashed a withering burst of speed out wide on the course in the straight to run second behind the smart type Glenferrie College.  He is ODM tonight because of that misdemeanour and it won’t be a pushover for him but if he unleashes a similar sprint his rivals will have trouble keeping him at bay.

Lively Princess (Race 5 no. 12) $3.20

This mare has always had her share of talent but she can do the odd thing wrong, which was the case here first up from a spell where she made an early error before charging home into third spot behind Eljulio.  She has since won a Melton trial and with a smooth beginning and the right run in transit she can blow these away.
