We don’t have too many Sunday sessions @ Melton these days but based on today’s fare I really wish we did. It’s been a very good w/end so far so I’m having a genuine dip here w/ 2 Best Value Bets, 1 Best Roughie, 2 staggered Money Races & some Quads.

Our Puddy (Race 5 no. 7) $5

There’s a certain amount of trust involved here as this guy is first-up from a shocking draw but at his best he’s better than his rivals and he has been trialling quite well at both this course & Geelong.

Our Great Spirit (Race 6 no. 1) $4.50

This bloke is going pretty well right now & given he should get the gun run behind Jack Kelly (2) & I’m not altogether sure about that bloke’s heart I think he’s a great chance of running by him in the lane.

Best Roughie ($10 x $20)

Educated Lady (Race 3 no. 1) $13

This filly isn’t the strongest pacer going around but she too should lob her favourite run behind the leader and first-up back w/ team Sugars I reckon she’s worth an Each Way wager at the juicy odds.

The Monster Money Race – Race 6

As mentioned above I think Jack Kelly (2) will cruise to the top w/ Our Great Spirit (1) on his back and they should dominate from there.

I have isolated Classy Guy (2) one-out in all of my Quads as he should lob the top and lead his rivals a merry dance. If Metrofromelle (8) can hold his back then it should be another peg-dominated affair.
