Good Form Preview - Thursday Night @ Kilmore

The Game Plan for Kilmore – with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)
It would be entirely fair to say that this is one of the toughest betting meetings I have seen for some time with wide open fields and plenty of question marks but we can only hope that will mean more value for us if we play the card smart. I am taking a softly. Softly approach to the programme w/ just 1 Best Bet, 1 Best Roughie, 1 Money Race and some Quads but hopefully we can turn a profit to reinvest at Melton tomorrow night.

Best Bet ($50 Win)
Sukhovey Wind (Race 2 no. 2) $3.75
In a very moderate race which even includes two classy trotters, this guy looks thrown into the race. He didn’t finish off his last campaign covered in glory but he has much more talent than all of his pacing rivals here and will only have to fend off top squaregaiter Brylin Crescent (6) to win.

Best Roughie ($25 Each Way)
Amazing Milly (Race 6  no. 9) $11
Second line draws in short course races are never ideal but in this case it may just help us get better odds. Put simply, this mare had zero luck last start but still raced well and has been performed well in most of her recent starts so if you’re getting anything near the $11 quoted in today Herald Sun then have an Each Way crack at her tonight.

The Money Race – Race 3 ($50 worth of flexi trifectas)
On facts and figures Dell Boy (7) will win this in a hand canter but Weregonnarock (1) did enough against him last start to suggest that he’s an almost certain top-two finisher and a little threat to the favourite as well. Skinny Tricks are the order of night here so play smart and you should make a profit from the race.

7/ 1/ 2,3. $25 gets 1250%
7/ 1/ 5,6. $10 gets 500%
1/ 7/ 2,3. $12 gets 600%
1/ 7/ 5,6. $3 gets 150%

Quaddies (x4)
8/ 6/ 2,3,4,5,8,9,10,11/ 6,11. $20 gets 125%
8/ 6/ 2,3,4,5,8,9,10,11/ 7,8,9,10. $16 gets 50%
8/ 2,3,4,5,9/ 2,3,4,5,8,9,10,11/ 6,11. $40 gets 50%
3,5,6/ 6/ 2,3,4,5,8,9,10,11/ 6,11. $24 gets 50%
