Good Form Preview - Tuesday Night @ Shepparton

The Game Plan for Shepparton – with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)
Tonight’s Shepparton programme looks a card in two halves with some races very light on for winning chances and a couple where almost anything can jag the prize. I think there are three horses who should really be winning their respective races so I will be targeting a Formula 2 with them, while I’ve also identified 1 Roughie, 2 Money Races and some Quads as per usual.

Best Bets/ Formula 2 ($75 gets 25 units)
I really like this Formula 2 because I almost reckon the first leg is a monty and from there we only have to get one of the other two better-priced commodities up to jag ourselves a win.

Braeview Bomber (Race 3 no. 3) $2.25
There’s not a lot of science going on here. Simply put, he has some pretty good form on the board and did trial impressively at Kilmore and unless one of the debutantes travel a lot better than their trial form would suggest he’ll be winning this with ease.

Crusader Acey (Race 4 no. 5) $3.25
This guy was pratted three deep throughout in the quickest heat of of this race nine days back and just kept charging despite the tough trip. If he produces a similar effort here he should win so the $3.25 if it holds up looks quite unbelievable for mine.

Revivalist (Race 5 No. 1) $3
This mare was low flying before getting no luck whatsoever last start at Bendigo. She can lead these around and win that way and take a trail and still be the horse to beat so once again the quote looks juicy indeed.

Best Roughie ($10 x $15)
Mister Desirable (Race 1 no. 10) $11
There’s no guarantees here but I was impressed with the performance of this guy to narrowly miss out on the much stronger final later in the programme last time out. He charged home for the back there and if the speed is appropriate here he can figure in the finish at good odds.

The Money Race (Flexi Trifectas for $50)
Race 1
The philosophy here is that there are limited chances to figure on the podium, there’s very little separating the top four chances and w/ a slice of luck this could pay very well

1,2,7,10/ 1,2,5,7,8,10/ 1,2,5,7,8,10. $50 gets 62.5%

Race 5
I’m super keen that Revivalist (1) will win this and if she doesn’t Our Warwick Lad (9) will be her conqueror so play the five Trifectas below and I reckon we’ll end up on top.

1/ 9/ 2,8. $20 gets 1000%
1/ 2,8/ 9. $10 gets 500%
9/ 1/ 2,8. $10 gets 500%
9/ 2,8/ 1. $5 gets 250%
1/ 2,8/ 2,8. $5 gets 250%

The Quads
5/ 1,9/ 7/ Field. $20 gets 100%
5/ 1,9/ 3,4,8,9,10,11,12/ Field. $42 gets 30%
5/ 2,8/ 7/ Field. $5 gets 25%
1,2/ 1,9/ 7/ Field. $10 gets 25%
1,2/ 1,9/ 3,4,8,9,10,11,12/ Field. $23 gets 8.21%

The Game Plan for Wangaratta @ Shepparton with Andrew Evans (@AndrewEvansHRV).
Best Bet
(Race 5 No 1 Revivalist) $3 ($50W)
This mare had no luck from her second row draw last start and the run should be forgotten. She will either lead or sit behind the leader here and from either spot she looks hard to beat.
Best Value
(Race 1 No 7 Trottin Rosco) $11 ($20W/$30P)
This guy ran a solid race after working to the spot outside the leader here last start. I think he is a good chance of finding that spot again and running a big race against the opposition he meets tonight.

(Race 4 No 8 Smokin Tally) $13 ($10W/$40P)
This bloke stuck to his guns in the lane after having a tough run in his heat. He has enough speed to hold the back of Goldiedomic who is the likely leader in the race and should get every opportunity to figure in the finish.

Money Race
Race 5 (Trifectas $50)
1/ 9/ 8 $17.50 gets 1750%
1/ 9/ 2 $12.50 gets 1250%
1/ 8/ 2 $8 gets 800%
1/ 2/ 8 $4 gets 400%
9/ 1/ 2,8 $8 gets 400%

Quaddie x4
5/ 1/ 3,7,8,9,12/ 3,5,6,8,9,10 $30 gets 100%
1,8,11/ 1/ 3,7,8,9,12/ 3,5,6,8,9,10 $40 gets 44.44%
5/ 9/ 3,7,8,9,12/ 3,5,6,8,9,10 $15 gets 50%

1,8,11/ 9/ 3,7,8,9,12/ 3,5,6,8,9,10 $15 gets 16.67%
