Good Form Preview - NYE @ Lords Raceway

The Game Plan for Bendigo – with Blake Redden (@BlakeRedden)
When Harness Racing Victoria form expert Gareth Hall called me and told me how good this meeting was I couldn’t quite picture it with just six races on the program. But the proof is in the pudding and after assessing the meeting, I’m a convert. From a punting perspective there are plenty of ways to attack the six races so we will have a decent lash for the Good Form followers and hope to make an extra coin or two leading in to the New Year celebrations.

Best Bet ($100 win)
Flaming Flutter (Race 3 No.4) $1.90
Geoff Webster has done a magnificent job guiding this fella through his three-year-old season and his win in the Mildura Guineas before going for a break is testament to his prospects as a four-year-old. He comes into this race off the back of a thorough demolition at the Melton trials on December 23 and prior to that he stepped OK in a standing start trial back on December 9. If he is anywhere near his best tonight he should be winning at close to flip of the coin odds.

Best Roughie ($25 place)
Bellmac Kody (Race 5 No.1) $16
There is no need to break the bank here but this little trotter has shown plenty of talent in his juvenile and three-year-old careers and despite meeting two extremely talented horses tonight, I think he is a massive place hope. He returned from a break in much easier class at Charlton but still proved too strong for them so if he can step away and lob handy in along the pegs, I think he will run a big race.

The Money Races ($50 flexi trifectas)
Race 2
Like the second money race in the Game Plan tonight, we aren’t here to create a windfall, but as punters little wins can lead to big profits at the end of the night. So to kick things off we will play what looks a relatively easy trot race to read. Rostevarran (2) is in terrific form and should enjoy the smaller field here so rates at the one to beat while Just Call Me Earl (5) is on the verge of breaking through and is the clear second pick in the race and can even challenge our top tip. A fair way away, yet well clear of the fourth hope in the race is Mister Elwood (2) so we will play the trifectas this way.

2/5/3. $27 gets 2700%
5/2/3. $15 gets 1500%
2/3/5. $5 gets 500%
5/3/2. $3 gets 300%

Race 3
Again we have three main hopes in the opening leg of the Quaddie with one other who can blow them out at his best so we will anchor our best bet on the program, Flaming Flutter (4) in a few trifectas and play a couple more with either of the two dangers in Almost El Eagle (2) and Bushrod (6) to beat him. Nimble Jack (1) is the other that can fill a hole.

4/2,6/2,6. $15 gets 750%
2,6/4/2,6. $10 gets 500%
4/2,6/1. $10 gets 500%
4/1/2,6. $10 gets 500%
2,6/4/1. $5 gets 250%

The Octo-Quad ($100)
A very special Quaddie deserves a very special intro and that’s what we have tonight at Bendigo. Kicking off with race three, we have played our quaddies relatively conservatively while Jason Bonnington has been away but it’s time to whip out the eight-timer, the Octo-Quad. We will be staggering each of the first, third and fourth legs in order to not only make sure we snag the wily beast, but also to ensure we get a return on our investment. This is how we will be playing below.

4/1,2,3,7,8/2,11/10. $18 gets 225%
1,2,6/1,2,3,7,8/2,11/10. $15 gets 50%
4/1,2,3,7,8/1,10/10. $12 gets 150%
1,2,6/1,2,3,7,8/1,10/10. $10 gets 33.33%
4/1,2,3,7,8/2,11/2,4,11. $15 gets 50%
1,2,6/1,2,3,7,8/2,11/2,4,11. $13.50 gets 15%
4/1,2,3,7,8/1,10/2,4,11. $7.50 gets 25%
1,2,6/1,2,3,7,8/1,10/2,4,11. $9 gets 10%

Good Form Preview - Monday @ Stawell

The Game Plan for Stawell – with Andrew Evans(@AndrewEvansHRV)
Best Bets ($100 All Up Win)
(Race 2 No.3 The Gingerbreadman)
This bloke has only won the one race from six starts but he has shown plenty of ability in some of his defeats behind some good pacers. He resumes here on the back of a few solid trials and he will be very hard to beat in this field.

(Race 3 No.1 Znana)
This guy strung together three good wins prior to his last two starts where he has gone down behind some very good up and coming pacers like Young Modern and Goodtime Mike. He should find the lead here today against the older horses and be hard to beat.

The Money Race
Race 3 ($50 Flexi First 4’s)
1/ 4,8/ 4,8/ 2,3,5,6 $30 gets 375%
1/ 4,8/ 2,3,5,6/ 4,8 $20 gets 250%

Good Form Preview - Sunday @ Cranbourne

The Game Plan for Cranbourne – with Blake Redden (@BlakeRedden)
Tonight’s program at Cranbourne looks tricky in some respects with a couple of near certainties in others so we will have to be careful how we play it from a punting perspective but I’m still confident we can turn a profit if we stick to the bets outlined below.

Best Bets/ All Up ($50)
Gowan Brae (Race 2 No.6) $1.30
We will be throwing in this guy as a bit of bank interest on out main best bet for the day in the very next race but basically Gowan Brae (6) should be far too good tonight, he is coming of a sixth in the Group 3 Sires Classic as he drops into this C0 race so expect him to bully his way forward at the start and be near-impossible to beat if all things are equal.

Art De Triomphe (Race 3 No.5) $2
I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for this Danny Thackeray-trained mare and tonight I think she has found the right race to break her maiden status after 18 starts. Awesome Mattjesty (1) looks the only conceivable danger but this girl should be too strong for him regardless of how the race plays out.

Best Value ($25 each way)
Kings Jasper (Race 6 No.1) $3
I simply loved the way this fella hit the line when first up at the same track last time out and from a draw where he can secure a similar pegline run, in a race which is no harder, I think he is a huge show of knocking them off when the gaps appear in the straight.

Quaddie (x2)
2,4/3,6/1/1,7. $24 gets 300%
1,2,3,4/3,5,6,10/1,9,11/1,7,10. $76 gets 52.78%

Good Form Preview @ Melton

The Game Plan for Melton – with Andrew Evans(@AndrewEvansHRV)
Best Bets ($75 Win)
(Race 2 No.3 Bella Cheval) $3
This mare is racing in career best form at the moment with good performances at her past five outings. She has only claimed the major prize on one of those occasions but she gets a great chance to add another win tomorrow night from the front line.
(Race 4 No.9 Union Belle) $3
This mare has won three out of her last four with the other run a strong second. She should get a nice run through here from her second line draw as she is drawn behind a quick beginner and looks a strong hope of adding another win tonight.
(Race 5 No.5 Suspicious Behavia) $3
This bloke was most impressive winning in flying time at Bendigo at his last outing. He should have enough speed here to cross early then he can either shoot for an all the way win or hand up and dash through via the sprint lane on the last lap. From either spot he looks a great hope of adding another win here.
(Race 7 No.1 Carpenters Daughter) $4.75
This mare strung together three wins prior to last start where things didn’t go her way from a wide draw. From the pole draw tonight she should get every opportunity as she has the speed to hold up early then hand up to a suitable rival and she will hard to hold out via the sprint lane in the straight.
Money Race
Race 6 ($75 Flexi First 4’s)
6/ 5,7/ 5,7,8/ 1,5,7,8,9,10 $50 gets 312.50%
5,7/ 6/ 5,7,8/ 1,5,7,8,9,10 $25 gets 156.25%
Quaddies(x6)
9/ 5/ 6/ 1 $5 gets 500%
9/ 5/ 5,7/ 1 $5 gets 250%
3,5,9/ 5/ 6/ 1,7,12 $25 gets 277.78%
3,5,9/ 5/ 5,7/ 1,7,12 $15 gets 83.33%
3,5,9/ 2,3/ 6/ 1,7,12 $25 gets 138.89%

Good Form Preview - Friday Night @ Mildura

The Game Plan for Mildura – with Blake Redden (@BlakeRedden)
It’s rare for us to have a Friday night meeting in the Sunraysia so as punters it’s time to step in and take advantage of the primetime betting slot with a winner or two. It looks a nice betting program so we have best betted two strong chances at backable odds with a money race and a split Quaddie to finish off our night.

Best Bets ($50 win)
Shegoeswooshka (Race 4 No.1) $2.80
Shegoeswooshka (1) comes into this race fresh without a trial and although she can mix her form she has the perfect draw to take advantage of a relatively even race. Her second to Shes A Killer four starts back or even her fifth to the classy Mildura filly Four Sisters three starts back would be enough to see her very hard to beat in the first leg of the Quaddie.

Donovan Maguire (Race 6 No.8) $2.80
This guy is putting together a nice record in the Sunraysia and two starts back he was a dominating winner in similar class to this race from the same draw. If he can follow through and work his way to the breeze mid-race, or simply come with one run, I think he may have a touch to much toughness for likely favourite Stormee (5).

The Money Race
Race 3
For all intents and purposes this is a race in two with very limited hopes to run third so we will play four trifecta’s in the hope of turning a small profit on the race. Changing Code (3) looks clearly the horse to beat so we will anchor him in our main trifecta’s however Keringle Ideal (1) is a rough hope of knocking over the likely favourite with Wicked Isle (4) and Roustabout Ronny (7) the clear third and fourth pick.

3/1/4,7.  $20 gets 1000%
3/1/5,6. $10 gets 500%
1/3/4,7. $15 gets 750%
1/3/5,6. $5 gets 250%

Quaddie (x2)
1,7/7/8/6,9. $50 gets 1250%
1,7/7/1,5/6,9. $50 gets 625%

Good Form Preview - Cobram Cup Day

The Game Plan for Cobram Cup Day with Andrew Evans (@AndrewEvansHRV).

Best Value
(Race 3 no.11 Makemcry Maori)  ($25 Each Way) $5
This guy hasn’t won for quite a while and I don’t usually like tipping horses that have to come off big handicaps but this guys last two runs have been very good against much better opposition to what he meets today. If he has a clean getaway expect him to be put into the action early and at the price of $5 he looks well over the odds to me. It’s also worth noting that he’s only start around this track yielded a win.
(Race 6 no.3 Who Broke Our Halo)  ($30W/$20P) $9
I expect this guy to find the front today a place he won from here at Cobram five runs back in a small field. He meets a stronger opposition today but he is racing better than ever and from the front looks a great chance and at $9 we can back him each way.
(Race 6 no.11 Blissfull Hart)  ($15W/$35P) $11
This guy is a tough versatile customer who is racing in career best form at the moment. He will work around the field at some stage and look to find the spot outside the leader and if he gets there without having to do too much work he is sure to give a big sight.
(Race 7 no.2 Rakarebel)  ($50 Each Way) $9
This guy run a super race in the Yarra Valley Cup two runs back where he stuck on well to finish third after peeling out three wide at the bell. Last start he was disappointing when well supported at Melton but had a few things go against him. He returns to standing start conditions today and if he begins as well as he did at Yarra Valley today he should position up in a striking position and be right in the finish.
Best Roughie
(Race 4 no.8 Ortabe Good)  ($20W/$55P) $15
This guy has really caught the eye two runs back at Shepparton where he flew home late after getting held up back in the field. Then last start he proved the Shepparton run was no fluke sustaining a three wide run without cover for the last lap to finish just off the placings. He looks a strong chance of holding the back of the leader and favourite today and from there looks a great each way proposition.
Quaddies (x4)
1,2,8/ 9/ 1,3,5,8,10,11/ 2,4 $45 gets 125%
6,7/ 9/ 1,3,5,8,10,11/ 2,4 $15 gets 62.50%
1,2,8/ 9/ 1,3,5,8,10,11/ 1,7,9,10 $30 gets 41.67%
6,7/ 9/ 1,3,5,8,10,11/ 1,7,9,10 $10 gets 20.83%

Good Form Preview - Boxing Day @ Ballarat

The Game Plan for Ballarat – with Andrew Evans (@AndrewEvansHRV)
Best Bets ($75 win)
Western Gretel (Race 1 No.1)
There has been plenty to like about this mares recent performances against some quality opposition from awkward draws. She has drawn ideally tonight and looks a great bet to kick off the program.
Maidstone Miss (Race 5 No.7)
This mare has now put it all together and as a result her last three starts have yielded three impressive wins. She meets a good field here but if she can trot throughout she looks a super chance of making it four in a row.
Best Roughie ($10 win x $40 place)
Majestic Swan (R6 No.2)
This mare produced a big finish to get up a score at big odds last start in good time. She has drawn much better today and should position up close to the speed and whilst she meets some quality opposition she will most likely go around over the odds and is worth a go on an each way basis.
The Money Races

Good Form Preview - Boxing Day @ Charlton

The Game Plan for Charlton – with Blake Redden (@BlakeRedden)
Even the boys at Good Form have had a very Merry Christmas so if you are feeling as festive as us, it’s probably time to retire to the couch with a cold drink and settle in for an afternoon of trots while we smash the Poms yet again. We’ve come up with a pretty safe All Up today along with a Value Bet, a Money Race and the Quaddies.

Best Bets / All Up ($100 All Up)
Presidentialsecret (Race 1 No. 7) $1.50
There’s really only one way to put this, something would have to go horribly wrong for this guy to get beaten today. He is simply a class above his rivals as a Vicbred heat winner and semi-final runner-up behind subsequent champion Major Secret last season. He has returned in solid form with two cracking runs before never really getting into last time. No matter where Ellen Tormey decides to put him over the mile I expect him to outclass his rivals.

The Boss Man (Race 2 No. 3) $1.40
This is another case of a horse being simply too good for his rivals. The Boss Man (3) is coming out of a juvenile and three-year-old crop of squaregaiters and at stages he was right up with the best of them including Blitzthemcalder. He has trialled well for his return so it should be a matter of putting in and taking out when they cross the line.

Dieing Secret (Race 6 No. 8) $1.60
This girl returns to the Mark Thompson camp after a Vicbred Super Series placing for Emma Stewart over 12 months ago. She has trialled twice in preparation for today and both have been encouraging, expect her to work off the inside early but from there she can do it tough and still outgun them in the run home.

Best Roughie ($20 win x $30 place)
Absolute Dream (R5 No.4) $11
From the lovely trailing draw this guy should get a decent run through considering he follows out the favourite and quick beginner, Easton All Action. He has been running well at big odds in all of his last three and things should be exactly the same today. If he can run into a placing then we should make a juicy profit on the race.

The Money Race
Race 2 ($50 Flexi Trifecta)
It’s not often we play money races like this but this race looks a genuine pinch to snag the trifecta in direct order. The Boss Man (3) is as close to a good thing as you will get while Rumbustious (1) has shown plenty of ability and will have the gun run and Wicked Schemes (6) has plenty on the others. For that reason we are going to play the trifecta below.

3/1/6. $50 gets 5000%

Quaddies (x2)
1,4,5,6,7/2,3,5,6,12/8/2. $45 gets 150%
1,4,5,6,7/2,3,5,6,12/8/3,6,9. $55 gets 61.11%

Good Form Christmas Message

From everyone at Good Form we hope you have a safe and happy Christmas and there are plenty more punting success stories in the New Year.

Good Form Preview - Tuesday Night @ Kilmore

The Game Plan for Kilmore with Andrew Evans (@AndrewEvansHRV).
Best Bets ($75Win)
(Race 3 no.7 Vics Cheval)  $2.30
This mare has returned from a break with two dominant wins against easier opposition for David Aitken. She meets a decent field here and she does have to contend with the 20m handicap but if she repeats what she has produced at her first two runs back I expect her to be very hard to beat tonight.

(Race 5 no.8 Don’t Wannadie)  $2.30
This guy has only won the one race but his form since arriving in Australia has been super behind the likes of No Bettertime and Bit of a Babe. He will need some luck from his awkward draw but he is clearly the best horse in the race and has the services of Gavin Lang who should be able to weave some magic and get him home.

(Race 8 no.5 Djasker)  $2.30
This mare backs up after a solid run yesterday where she finished midfield. She hasn’t won for over a year but she has been contesting much tougher races than this recently and this looks her race if she puts her best foot forward.

Best Value ($50 Each Way)
(Race 4 No.10 Bad Boy Brad) $3.80
There was plenty to like about this blokes win at his second start at Yarra Valley on Cup day where he made a midrace move  to the spot outside the leader after a poor start then raced clear in the lane to win comfortably.  He bumps into a smart one tonight in Hectorjayjay but he does have fitness on his side and he looks near certain hope of filling a place with a repeat of last starts performance.

Quaddie (x2)
7,10/ 1,8/ 1,3/ 1,3,4,5,7,8 $60 gets 125%
7,10/ 1,8/ 4,6,10,12/ 1,3,4,5,7,8 $40 gets 41.67%

Good Form Preview - Monday @ Maryborough

The Game Plan for Maryborough – with Blake Redden (@BlakeRedden)
The old adage while in Rome applies to today’s meeting at the home of the trotter with our Best Bet and a Money Race centred on the squaregaiter. I also think we’ve found one at good odds that can run a race for us and we will just split the Quaddie two ways today and hope for some value in one of the last three legs.

Best Bet ($75 win)
Rosemma (R2 No. 3) $2.10
First-up as a four-year-old this ex-Kiwi mare was nothing short of disappointing after pulling when leading a relatively even field as an odds-on favourite. Today she meets a slightly tougher field but if she settles better she should have the class to overpower her rivals on the way to better races.

Best Roughie ($10 win x $15 place)
Cheval Charette (R5 No.4) $13
This girl was big odds but absolutely smashed the line last time out in a restricted race at Melton. Prior to that she had been mixing her form a little but is generally consistent and with Gavin Lang remaining in the cart you can rest assured she is a massive chance to at least lob a place today.

The Money Races
Race 1 ($50 Flexi First 4’s)
This looks a good betting race with Daenerys Targaryen (6) likely to start well into the red and deservedly so.  She was just run down by a handy filly in Spidergrace first up and with the benefit of that experience I expect the Redwood Classic winner from last season to take care of her rivals comfortably. Zarah Gee (5) has shown ability for Dean Braun in her three starts and is the logical danger while Gaelic Lass (1) and Sister Of Sonoko (7) look the only other place chances so we will play the First 4’s outlined below.

6/5/1,7/1,7. $20 gets 1000%
6/1,7/5/1,7. $16 gets 800%
6/5/1,7/2,3. $10 gets 250%
6/1,7/5/2,3. $4 gets 100%

Race 4 ($50 Flexi Trifecta’s)
Major Secret (7) was a little underrated last season but took the Vicbred Super Series in gritty fashion then turned in two nice performances through the Breeders Crown Series. His easy trial win at Ballarat on December 7 suggests he has returned somewhere near his best so we can bank on him to run in the quinella. The other key chances are headed by value player Punchinello (1) who had nothing go his way at Cranbourne, and was defeated by bad manners prior, and also Motor Smoker (5) who was runner up in the 2YO Breeders Crown consolation last season.

7/ 1,5/ 1,5. $15 gets 750%
7/1,5/4,6,8. $15 gets 250%
1,5/7/1,5. $10 gets 500%
1,5/7/4,6,8. $10 gets 166.67%

Quaddies (x2)
7/4,5,10/1,4,5,6,10/3,4,6,7,10,11. $67.50 gets 75%
1,5/4,5,10/1,4,5,6,10/3,4,6,7,10,11. $32.50 gets 18.05%

Good Form Preview - Sunday @ T-Rang

The Game Plan for Terang – with Blake Redden (@BlakeRedden)
Best Bet ($50 win)
Metrofromelle (Race 7 Number 1) $3.50
When mares are in form you should always stick with them so that’s the adage I’ll be sticking by here. She didn’t have the clearest of passages last time out  and I don’t expect her to hold the top here but if she gets a soft run behind the leader then I have no doubt she can sprint hard up the lane and prove hard to hold out.

Best Roughie ($5 win x $20 place)
Dee Cees Desire (Race 6 Number 1) $
There’s no point in throwing the kitchen sink at this race because both Jilliby Mac (3) and Soho Lennon (9) will be hard to hold out somewhere in the trifecta but I’ll be banking on this guy to lob the other position. He has only had two runs for the new stable and was a strong win in a heat where he ran creditably after having to sit parked in the final of that same race.

The Money Race
Race 2 ($50 worth of flexi trifecta’s)
This looks the best betting proposition of the night in terms of exotics because we can be sure Keayang Starzzz (2) will hold the front early and almost as certainly will be too good for his rivals. Similarly I’d be shocked if either the improving Reeds May (4) or Gnotuk (6) don’t run a drum. For that reason we are going to play the following trifectas:

2/4,6/4,6,8,10. $30 gets 500%
2/4,6,8,10/4,6. $20 gets 333%

Quaddies (x4)
1,2,6/1,3,5,6,11/3,9/1. $45 gets 150%
1,2,6/1,3,5,6,10,11/1,3,9/1,4,6,9. $55 gets 25.46%

Good Form Preview - Saturday Night @ Shepparton

The Game Plan for Shepparton – with Blake Redden (@BlakeRedden)
T’was the weekend before Christmas and we have the trots coming out of Shepparton tonight so why not have a punt to get into the festive spirit of things. On a tricky punting program we won’t be breaking the bank but I’m pretty keen on one roughie early in the program and I think we can get the cash with a best value bet plus a money race and Quaddie to round things out.

Best Value($25 each way)
Big Zee (Race 4 Number 7) $5
This guy ran a couple of big race through the Gordon Rothacker Memorial Championship then didn’t have things to suit last time against Bliss Man who is low-flying. Tonight he will likely keep working forward off the arm and even if he doesn’t find the front I expect him to be mighty hard to beat at handy each way odds.

Best Roughie ($20 win x $30 place)
Ess Prefontaine (Race 3 Number 8) $21
If you tied me down to having one bet for the night it would have to be this fella on an each way basis. He had trialled encouragingly prior to his debut performance where he was never really in the race and got lost going off the back. He finished off well despite behind beaten a fair way but from his trailing draw tonight I expect him to unleash a decent sprint if and when the gaps open and that should be enough to see him run into the minor money at worst.

The Money Race
Race 2 ($50 worth of flexi trifecta’s)
This may be a random barrier draw but most of the class in this race has drawn poorly. In saying that I’d still expect either Major Megs (12) or Sammysluck (10) to get the cash so we will play trifecta’s around one of those winning and the other running a place. Outside of that pair a raft of runners can fill a minor position so we will play wide and hope things fall our way.

Good Form Preview - Friday Night @ HQ

The Game Plan for Melton with Andrew Evans (@AndrewEvansHRV).
Best Bet ($100 Win)
(Race 10 No.3 Jean Baptiste)  $2.90 – Click here to bet on this horse now
This bloke has shown plenty of ability and toughness since arriving in Australia four runs back. He is a quick beginner and I think he will lead tonight in the small field and be extremely hard to beat.

Best Value ($25 Each Way)
(Race 2 No.12 Empire Earl)  $8 – Click here to bet on this horse now
This guy has been flying since arriving in Australia from NZ with two wins and a second place from his three starts. This is his toughest test tonight and he has to overcome a tricky second row draw but he looks to have loads of talent and should run a big race tonight at a decent price.

The Game Plan for Melton – with Blake Redden (@BlakeRedden)
We’ve kicked off with a bit of a bang with Good Form founder Jason Bonnington on holidays so hopefully it can continue into tonight’s program at trots HQ. We will be playing with a relatively small Game Plan but in saying that it looks a terrific punting program and there should be plenty of value in not only our Best Roughie but also the Money Race and Quaddies.

Best Bet ($100 win)
Keayang Steamer (Race 7 Number 10) $4.75 – Click here to bet on this horse now
In what essentially looks a race in two I’m more than happy to declare Keayang Steamer the best bet on the entire card tonight. He may be disadvantaged at the draws with main threat American Muscle (4) likely to find the front early, but we are talking about a Breeders Crown placegetter behind subsequent Grand Circuit winner Ideal Scott. He was also a close-up fourth in the Chariots Of Fire behind Christen Me and has knocked up winning races in Victoria. He has trialled in sizzling time around Terang recently (1:58.6, home in 55.6secs) and from the draw he is capable of hustling forward to find the spot outside the leader and from there I expect him to crush his rivals in the lane.

Best Roughie ($20 win x $30 place)
Rostevarren (Race 2 Number 10) $12 – Click here to bet on this horse now
In a pretty even trot race I think this guy is one we can pinpoint as a massive place hope that has the chance to knock his rivals out if things pan out for him. He was a super talented juvenile squaregaiter and although he hasn’t necessarily gone on to be a Group 1 open class performer, he has morphed into a consistent trotter who can be relied upon to run his usual honest race. He sat parked outside Blitzthemcalder in a 1:56.9 mile rate last week and was brave to be beaten just on 20 metres and prior to that his form was outstanding for a race like this.

The Money Race
Race 9 ($75 worth of flexi trifecta’s) – Click here to bet on this race now
This looks a terrific betting race because although there is likely to be an early burn for the top, I still think most of those in the initial fight will kick on strongly but it opens up the trifecta for a couple drawn on the back row. Armbro Higgens (6) clearly looks the horse to beat but Alina (3) is the obvious danger and to a lesser extent No Tomorrow (12), then any of Saabrina Miss (2), Arty Missy (5) or Walky Talky (9) can fill a hole.

6/3,12/2,3,5,9,12. $24 gets 300%
6/2,3,5,9,12/3,12. $16 gets 200%
3/6,12/2,3,5,9,12. $16 gets 200%
12/3,6/2,3,5,9,12. $8 gets 100%
Box Trifecta 3,6,12. $11 gets 183.33%

Quaddies (x4) Click here to bet on the Quaddie now
3/1,2,4,9,11/1,2,4,5,6,8,9/10. $52.50 gets 150%
3/1,2,4,9,11/1,2,4,5,6,8,9/2,4,13. $48.50 gets 46.19%

Star Trialler
Majorlook (Race 10 no.4) – $3.10 – Click here to bet on this horse now
Aside from Ian Montgomery declaring this fella had the potential to be his best ever horse - before his first start - he has shown plenty of that ability on the track in his first campaign.

Returning from a spell he has let rip with two impressive trial wins including a 1:57.8 (55.6secs last half) win at Bendigo followed by a 30-metre demolition of his rivals at Shepparton just last week.

There is plenty of competition in this small field but if he turns up at his best then he will be the horse to beat.

Sectionals
To view the sectional splits of EVERY HORSE in EVERY RACE at Melton last Friday night simply clickhere.

As a snapshot below, here are some of the star sectional performers at Melton last weekend.

Fastest Last Mile – Christen Me: 1:52.7

Fastest Last Half – Christen Me: 53.95secs
Fastest Last Quarter – Christen Me: 26.32secs

Sectional Superstar
Boyz Torque (Race 1 no.12) – $9 – Click here to bet on this horse now
To sit parked outside Regal Knight in a 1:53.2 mile rate and pull ground off him in the final quarter is no mean feat but this guy did it at 30/1 last week running home in 27.94secs.

His 55.58sec last half also suggests he is ready to win again and considering this looks a race they won't be running any 1:53 mile rate's it's a perfect chance to break his M0 despite the draw.
