Good Form Preview - Wednesday @ Kilmore

The Game Plan for Kilmore – with Blake Redden (@BlakeRedden)
This is the second Good Form meeting in a row I’ve had that looks a very nice punting program to have a lash at some best bets that we might get a price about. I’m very keen on three promising horses that have plenty of talent and we might be able to make some coin out of the early two-year-old races in the first before we launch into a four-way Quaddie to finish off the program.

Best Bets ($50 win)
Armbro Higgens (Race 4 No.9) $3.20
I love the way this guy goes about his business, he is a little professional who rarely misses a place and from his trailing draw I’d expect him to be no worse than midfield in the run, four of his last five runs have been outstanding with form around promising types like No Tomorrow and Fifth And Broadway. With even luck today I expect him to be winning again.
Aloha Don Ho (Race 5 No.2) $3.20
This ex-Kiwi can be enigmatic to say the least and I was almost going to say he put it all together last time when winning at HQ but that’s far from the truth as he almost ran off the track down the back. In saying that he is uber talented and from the draw I think he can be first to the pegs which gives him options given likely favourite Pressplay (4) is drawn outside him. He will need to lift to another level for this but I think he has the scope to keep improving.

Raylan Gibbins (Race 6 No.3) $3.00
This is another pacer which oozes ability but hasn’t yet figured out how to be a racehorse. With a run under his belt, and the kinder front row draw, he can bounce back to his two-year-old form which saw him dominate a couple of races before going down by just 7 metres to the very smart Business In Motion.

The Money Race
Race 1 ($50 flexi trifectas)
This race has really caught my eye, not only am I a huge fan of early two-year-old racing, there looks three genuinely nice prospects engaged with an unknown factor and another who could fill a place so we will play the tricks a few ways to try and ensure we turn a profit on the race.

Boxed 3,5,7. $24 gets 400%
3,5,7/3,5,7/1,6. $ $14 gets 116.67%
3,5,7/1,6/3,5,7. $12 gets 100%

Quaddies (x4)
9/2,4/2,3,4/2. $30 gets 500%
9/1,6,10,11/2,3,4/2. $24 gets 200%
9/2,4/2,3,4/1,3,5,13. $24 gets 100%
9/1,6,10,11/2,3,4/1,3,5,13. $22 gets 45.83%
