I have to concede it’s been a very difficult punting week so far but I’m keeping the faith that back-to-back Tabcorp Park meetings will  deliver some serious results for us over the next couple of days starting tonight. To be honest, I could not find any dead-set, can’t lose specials but I have isolated 1 Best Value Bet, along with 3 Money Races and a quartet of Quads.

Heavenly Sister (Race 2 no. 11) $6
The outside-second-line draw over the 1720m trip will not make things easy for this rapidly improving filly but her past two starts have been outstanding and if she can replicate her most recent performance when charging home in very quick time behind Breeders Crown winner, Claudys Princess, then she’ll be in the finish here poor draw and all.

The Money Races

Race 3 ($50 Flexi First Fours)
Whereibylong (3) is a Breeders Crown winning filly who should have this race well in hand, particularly if she leads as expected tonight. Her stablemate Bettors Package (6) is also very smart however and looms as a realistic threat along with Fullness Of Time (8) who went like a lear jet last time out at Maryborough.

Neither Renaissance Man (4) or Five Star Anvil (7) are the most reliable commodities to ever grace a racetrack but they really should dominate this race, particularly if my Speed Map prediction plays out with the latter horse spearing to the early lead and handing things over to the former horse mid-race. There are plenty who can take the podium place left vacant by them but one of the two should really win.

Race 10

Put simply, Vincennes (3) will only have to stay in gait to win here while Zoes Dream (5) appeals as a clear second pick.
