Hopefully most of you visiting today were punting last night because I said it would be feast or famine and fortunately it was the former. Everything lobbed: the All-Up, the Best Value, the Money Race & the Quad. It has to be said that I’m not as confident tonight but if 1 or 2 things go right we’ll make something out of our Formula 2, we’ll jag at least 1 of our Money Races & we’ll keep our flawless record for the Early Qauds intact!!

Best Bets/Formula 2 ($90 gets 30 units)

Cardon Merger (Race 4 no. 10) $2.50
The second line draw will make things harder for this bloke but it may also help us get a slightly better price. Put simply, I just think he has class on his rivals here and if Dasher Douglas puts him into the race at the right time I feel confident he will prove too good.

Mister Gunsen (Race 6 no. 5) $2.50

This bloke is never a moral in any race because he is vulnerable to copping heaps of pressure but the way my Map for this race looks he should cruise across to find the front with almost no issues whatsoever and from there I can’t find any known enforcers who’ll take him out of his comfort zone. It’s for those reasons I think he’ll lead them all the way.

Quick Draft (Race 10 no. 6) $1.90

I’m being a bit cavalier here because Mindarie Priddy (4) is clearly an outstanding young filly but there’s something about the way this girl put her away in their NSW Oaks heat and the fact that she’s a more reliable commodity that makes me think she’ll roll her again tonight.

The Money Races

Race 2
We’ll be holding our breath when it comes to part-time rogues Frances Annie (11) and Sun Of Sonoko (12) but if they both stay in gait they’ll almost certainly help to comprise this Trifecta with Glenferrie Typhoon (7). If one of them gallops we SHOULD still be in business, if two of them gallop, we’re cactus!!

Race 10

We’ll all be hoping that Quick Draft (6) gets the job done here but I’m playing a little conservatively and coupling her with Mindarie Priddy (4) in our major multiples here. I’m also expecting that Bettors Package (5) will run third or perhaps even split that glamour pair.
