Good Form Preview - Friday Night @ Shepparton

Adam Hamilton's preview

The Game Plan for Shepparton – with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)
After a very frustrating week on the punt, tonight’s Shepparton programme is the Oasis, the Valhalla, the Promised Land that we’ve been waiting for. Put simply this evening’s programme, at my favourite track, boasts plenty of Best Bets, heaps of exotic opportunities and a Quad that we can really sink our teeth into. I am pumped and I hope everyone out there comes along for the ride tonight.

Best Bets/ All-Up ($50)
OK. Here is the plan. ALL of these horses will salute if everything goes to plan & while I’m normally conservative w/ my multi wagers I’m happy to have a straight out All-Up w/ one crucial caveat: if Dizzyinterest goes under in the first leg, load up again with another All-Up on the remaining three runners for a further $50. If Dizzyinterest salutes just let the 4-leg Multi ride.

Dizzyinterest (Race 4 no. 5) $1.50
This mare wouldn’t be out of place in the BFS Gold Series plus she draws the easier of two Silver Series heats tonight. She’s first-up and she’s a trotter but if she’s close to right she’ll lead and she will win.

Itz Nosurprisesthere (Race 5 no. 11) $1.90
She is also first-up from a break but that is the only little question mark for her tonight. She’s a triple Oaks winner with class to burn who should overcome her second line draw and prove a grade above.

Manuka Man (Race 8 no. 6) $1.60
This bloke couldn’t have had much more go wrong in by far the stronger of two heats for this series and still won so it’s hard to see how we won’t get the job done once again here.

Mister Livan (Race 9 no. 3) $1.30
He was disappointing last start but his form prior to that was exemplary and he has any amount of class on this sort of field.

The Money Races
Race 1
Rosemma (4) has a massive advantage here as she will find the front but Paris Pepperell (8) and Queens Vacation (10) are both in super form and one of them can win if the cards all fall their way. They should dominate proceedings while a few other can fill third spot tonight.

4/ 8,10/ 3,5,6,8,10. $40 gets 500%
8,10/ 4/ 3,5,6,8,10. $10 gets 125%

Race 5
There are a couple of little question marks over her but I still can’t see how Itz Nosurprisesthere (11) gets beaten and if she does win we’ll be looking for a little value to fill up the dais.

11/ 1,2,3,7,12/ 1,2,3,7,9,12. $50 gets 200%

Race 8
Manuka Man (6) fought off a spirited challenge from United Legacy (7) to claim by far the stronger of two heats for this final last Saturday night and they should fight the finish out once more, with the former horse set to take home the prize. If they do run one-two or one-three at very worst we’ll be looking for some value in the other podium position.

6/ 7/ 2,5,8,10,11. $40 gets 800%
6/ 2,5,8,10,11/ 7. $20 gets 400%
7/ 6/ 2,5,8,10,11. $10 gets 200%

The Quads (x5 for $130)
11/ 1,4,6/ 9,10/ 6. $60 gets 1000%
11/ 1,4,6/ 9,10/ 7. $15 gets 250%
11/ 1,4,6/ 3,4/ 6. $15 gets 250%
11/ 7,10/ 9,10/ 6. $10 gets 250%
1,2,3,7,12/ 1,4,6/ 9,10/ 6. $30 gets 100%
