Good Form Preview - Monday @ Warragul

The Game Plan for Warragul – with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)
Best Bet ($50 Win)
Snow Cone (Race 6 no. 3) $4.50
A 3-time winner and 13-time placegetter from just 35 starts, this mare looks extremely well placed in this bottom-up C0 affair. She is second up here on the back of a more than serviceable effort when chasing hard from the back last time out and if she leads this lot around it’s hard to see how they’ll hunt her down.

Best Value ($25 Each Way)
Impressive Guy (Race 8 no. 8) $4.50
This bloke is going gangbusters for Joe Vassallo right now. Last start, when racing behind the leader, he split subsequent winners My Bella Starr and Seven Ounce at Kilmore and if he gets the gun run once again here I just think he’ll win. That is not assured though so I’m playing Each Way.

Best Roughie ($10 x $30)
Jasmine Sheffield (Race 7 no. 1) $10
She has raced in very strong class over the course of her career and was excellent two starts back in a heat of this series when splitting burgeoning superstar Macha and the in-form Discrimination in a heat of this series at Yarra Valley. She doesn’t fly the start but there’s a great chance she’ll lob in behind the speed here and at least run a drum if that scenario plays out.

The Money Race – Race 8 ($60 Flexi Trifecta's)
The draw really has contributed to making this a three-horse race because there are only two likely scenarios and we’ve covered both with our Tricks below.

The first scenario sees Three Gold Bars (1) hold the top from her polemarking draw with Impressive Guy (8) in behind her and if that plays out they’ll run one-two for sure.

The second scenario sees Intergalactic (3) cross over to find the front with his major dangers racing in behind him and if THAT scenario plays out peg domination should ensue.

1,3,8 Boxed. $30 gets 500%
1,3,8/ 1,3,8/ 9,10. $24 gets 200%
1,3,8/ 1,3,8/ 2,4. $6 gets 50%

The Quads (x2 for $150)
1,3,4,5,7,9/ 2/ 1,2,5,7/ 1,3,8. $72 gets 100%
1,3,4,5,7,9/ 1,5,9,10/ 1,2,5,7/ 1,3,8. $78 gets 27.08%
