This fella is a veteran of just three starts but he was thoroughly impressive winning with authority on Terang Cup night and he backed that up with a brilliant win at Hamilton two weeks later. He may be first up here but he has trialled well at Terang winning in a 58.9sec last half so all things being equal he should prove a class above today.

The Noble Steed (Race 7 No.6) $1.70

This guy wasn’t far from the placegetters in a race behind Sapphire Swayze recently and even going back to his previous start where he was close up behind Union Belle, he really does take a decent step back in class today. The barrier is no spoil but in a race where he should be able to dominate from the outset, he does look the horse to beat.

Race 6 ($39 worth of Flexi Trifecta’s)

In a race where Extra (1), Raw Steel (3) and Its Raining (6) have a significant class edge on their rivals, I think they will dominate the trifecta but we are making provisions for a blowout in the minors with Idle Suntime (7), Linora Dawn (8) and Beachyouthere (10) all capable of surprising.
