I’m still lamenting Keayang Steamer’s unfortunate defeat at Tabcorp Park last night as his failure turned a potentially profitable night into a losing one but I plan to get that cabbage back w/ some multiple madness @ Lords Raceway tonight. I can’t find a Best Bet to save myself on this programme so I’m tackling three Money Races & the Early Quad in my quest for a good result this evening.

The Money Races

Race 2

The scratching of Honey Maravu has turned this into a two horse race for mine between Dazzling Arden (3) & Real Elegance (7) but these aren’t the most gifted horses going around so I’ve made couple of provisos if they do not fight things out.

3,7/ 1,5,6/ 3,7. $12 gets 200%
3,7/ 1,5,6/ 1,5,6 $6 gets 50%

Race 5

This race would have been an even greater spectacle if My Field Marshal had not been scratched but what we have now is a wonderful match race between Mark Purdon – and New Zealand’s – best juvenile colt and best juvenile filly. On face value Follow The Stars (7) should prove too good for Linda Lovegrace (6) but if the latter horse leads it may not be a fait accompli. Ourboyjay (4) is a clear third pick & our chance of a positive result will skyrocket if he lobs the bronze medal role.

Race 8

This is a funny little race but if Getya Wings Out (2) leads as expected and Alina (1) trails her around they really should fight this race out between them. If they do we’ll make a profit from to finish off the card.
