Good Form Preview - Wednesday Night @ Geelong

The Game Plan for Geelong – with Blake Redden (@BlakeRedden)
Best Bet ($40 win)
Field Major (Race 4 No.5) $3.00
A couple of front row scratching's mean there is every chance this guy can continue pressing forward after the start to take up a handy position and I’m convinced he is the best horse in the race. He is coming off two placing's behind stablemate Vinny Chase from awkward alleys but from the front here, he should be good value if the price holds up.
Best Value ($10 win x $15 place)
Mountain Earl (Race 6 No.1) $8
What I love most about this bloke is that you know exactly what you are going to get from him. There is no doubt there are more talented horses in the race like Action Kosmos (11) and Ole Sun (7) but there are no more consistent. He should step cleanly and if he holds a position in the first handful of runners, then he is a terrific each way chance at the odds.
Stening (Race 7 No.1) $6
This guy has always shown a decent amount of ability but it was fantastic to see him hit the line with serious gusto when clear last time. In saying that he was still well beaten behind Mach Doro and Show Me The Bling but from the gun draw he shouldn’t be any further back than behind the leader and from that position he is going to be pretty dangerous given his main danger Birdy Mach (8) is drawn awkwardly behind him.

The Money Races
Race 5 ($50 worth of Flexi Trifectas)
Mach Doro (6) showed he is back to somewhere near his best with a close second in brilliant time first up. He should cross them in the blink of an eye here and from that position he will be very tough to beat while Mojo Major (7) and Burnaholeinmypocket (8) are the other absolute class in the race so we are playing the following four combinations.
6/7,8/7,8. $22 gets 1100%
7,8/6/7,8. $10 gets 500%
6/7,8/1,2,9. $10 gets 166.67%
6/1,2,9/7,8. $8 gets 133.33%
Quaddies (x4 worth $110)
6/1,4,6,7,11/1,2,8,9/2,7,8. $60 gets 100%
6/1,4,6,7,11/1,2,8,9/4,6,9. $20 gets 33.33%
7,8/1,4,6,7,11/1,2,8,9/2,7,8. $20 gets 16.67%
7,8/1,4,6,7,11/1,2,8,9/4,6,9. $10 gets 8.33%
